Giving Up The Bottle
“What Do I Look Like, Some Sort of Baby?”

-
Once
your child has mastered drinking from a cup, gradually decrease the amount of
liquids in the bottle.
Give bottles less frequently throughout the
day, or if you choose, eliminate them totally.
Remove
all bottles from the house.
Substitute
the bottle with a toy.
Bring
your child to a toy store, allowing a choice in toys. Then bring the toy and
your child’s bottle to the cashier. Have him pay for the toy with the bottle.
